SLS-5 PSU Recall

We have identified a serious quality issue affecting certain SLS-5 power supply units (PSUs) delivered from Q3 2023 until today. In some cases, the plastic casing may break apart with minimal force, exposing internal components.

As a precautionary measure, we will replace all SLS-5 PSUs delivered during this period.

We take this matter very seriously. Together with our supplier, we have addressed the root cause by strengthening both their quality control and quality assurance processes. In parallel, we have reviewed and improved our own internal quality control for all incoming goods to ensure similar issues are detected and prevented in the future.

This also means that no SLS-5 systems will be shipped until new power supplies have been delivered to us. The expected lead time is approximately three weeks.
